ORO GIALLO 2013
The high quality of our extra virgin olive oil has been acknowledged once again. Arimolio took 2 place under the category intense fruity at the Oro Giallo contest who took place in Rimini Fiera on 26/02/2013. The decision has been taken by a panel of judges pursuant to the degustation of some of the best Italian extra virgin olive oils contained in strictly anonymous bottles. We are proud of this achievement and we use this occasion to thank all our customers who keep choosing the quality of our EVOO. Its all thank to you if we can improve ourself in order to achieve greater results.

At the 2011 Oro Giallo Competition, the excellent quality of our extra virgin olive oil ARIMOLIO has been officially recognized by a panel of expert judges.

PREMIUM QUALITY PDO EVOO
Our participation to the second edition of "Tasting Desk" promoted by the Authority DOP Oil "Chianti Classico" together with the Minister of Agricultural and Forestal Policies:
It was organised in an optimal way. The gala dinner was fabulous and well-organised, the room was divided into 8-place tables.
Mr. Silvano Pasquinoni had dinner together with two tasters who carried out the selection of D.O.P at the show.
A Spanish taster and a representative of the Fiorentini tasters, have congratulated for "le Colline di Romagna D.O.P.", pointing out and exalting it as one of the best D.O.P. oils, selected for the show the day following the Tasting Desk Show.
The tasting bottles were unnamed, so any kind of conditioning has influenced the jury which unanimously expressed the high score for the organoleptic sweetness and harmony of our oil, so perfect that the tasting was repeated more than once, being incredulous not to find any defects caused by the rainy year which characterised the last year harvesting.
The following day, different exponents given their contribution to the show, such as Laura La Torre, MiPAF General Director, who exalted the importance of this product which has to be defensible and not considered as common product, hoping that the131 types of extra virgin oils present at Brussels and to be recognised as D.O.P., are really recognised with common sense by the delegated selectors.
This sentence also referred to the results presented by the jury:
out of 105 D.O.P. selected products, only 27 were inserted in the tasting, the others had very evident defects such as rancid, bad-preserved and so on.
For this reason Franco Oliva has intensified the controls in whole Italy to the certified firms:
the D.O.P. produced oil was all sold; however, hundreds of tons were undelivered and unsold. This information explains the importance of more severe and truly controls and more guarantees to the DOP trademark.
The presented proposal to face the current deficiency of some D.O.P. certified firms, is to create a PROTECTION AUTHORITY FOR DOP including members who wants to associate and establishing a wider vision of the territory to keep the D.O.P. oil under control, giving it an additional value that nowadays we do not confer. This is also due to the law n. 81 which has entered into force on 11 March 2006 indicating the prohibition to public activities to use olive oil in vessels with no labels.
The law in question can be circumvented by the owners of premises by adding more different oil in the bottles passing off it for D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil. Actually, as Marco Oreggia has pointed out, it is essential to produce caps which cannot be pulled out to avoid the bottle re-use.
Controls must be carried out not only on paper and directly by some competent bodies, which are in their turn controlled by supervisors for their work, obtaining a greater guarantee.
Our firm has been rewarded for its special product in QUALITY and DESIGN. We are the only one who have tanks under nitrogen for an optimal oil preservation during the whole year. Moreover, we are the sole producers and packagers of "D.O.P. Colline di Romagna". Our consistency in obtaining the best outcomes has benefited everybody.

NATIONAL TASTERS' REGISTER
Oil Campaign 2006/2007:
tastes carried out by the legal representative Silvano Pasquinoni, registered to the list of extra-virgin oil national tasters.
Its quality is tested first by panel tests, marking the flagrance, aroma and perfumes to guarantee harmonic oil.
This year has been very interesting and exceptional (year similar to 1990/'91); in fact, the oil is very dense and compact and the aromas are very marked.
This is due to the climate, which has characterised the summer season, where the temperature ranges (very hot during the day and fresh during the night) have given the product intense flagrances and taste.
